Athey Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
the top having flared cornice with bevel edged mirror and shelf below, 10 turned hat / coat pegs and all over profuse carvings including female busts, lions masks etc, the base with drawer and ornately carved cupboard doors opening to shelved interior, flanked at either side by umbrella / stick stands with drip trays, raised on plinth base.
with some marks / scuffs commensurate with age and scratches to the mirror but this wonderfully ornate hall stand is in overall good clean condition and really is an extremely handsome and eye catching piece.
