18th Century Welsh Oak 3 Drawer Lowboy. C. 1760

Description

18th century George III Welsh oak lowboy. Square legs with three drawers with cock beaded edges and shaped apron in the middle which is also cock beaded. Fretted brackets to the corners at the front.

The drawers with typical Welsh very thick pine sides with large dovetails. Later replacement brass handles.

Nice colour and patination. The right hand fret requires a small restoration, I have the piece.

SIZE; 33" wide by 18" front to back by 30" high
