Georgian Mahogany Corner Washstand

Description

Often used as a plant stand or jardiniere, this very versatile piece of furniture is in good original condition, a top shelf with an opening to take a large bowl plus two smaller bowls or cups, a central shelf with a boxwood edged drawer and a lower circular shelf supported by square section uprights ending in spayed feet.

These are popular to display porcelain as they stand in the corner and as a consequence are less likely to be knocked.

Height at the back - 40" (102cms)

Top shelf - 32.5" (83cms)

Middle shelf - 21" (53cms)

Bottom shelf - 6" (15cms)

Depth (radius) - 15" (38cms)
