Description

Victorian 19th Century satinwood (otherwise known as satin walnut) and marble washstand, side or dressing table. Marble top and splashback, with two towel rails. Wonderful colour and proportions. Splits into 3 parts for transport (two marble sections plus the base). Solid with no loose joints. Period ceramic castors (worn, not surprising given the weight of the marble).

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. There are marks and scratches on the marble to (as is to be expected) and a crack in the rear right hand corner, but it is well glued and not very noticeable.

Overall maximum dimensions: 107cm wide (126cm including the towel rails), 51.5cm deep, 75.5cm high (plus 48.5cm high marble upstand).
