Description

A beautiful mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period antique window seat/stool. Having shaped ends each with a marquetry and pen-work inlaid central panel with pierced fretwork detail. The central rectangular padded seat newly re-upholstered in a gold silk damask. The shaped mahogany seat rail with further intricate marquetry and pen-work inlaid detail to each side. Supported on four elegant mahogany cabriole supports with trailing harebell inlaid detail. This seat can be also used free standing in the centre of a room. English circa 1900

Dimensions: 43" wide x 15" deep x 23" high

Condition: This window seat/stool is in superb condition, the frame has been re-polished, re-upholstered and re-webbed to a high standard in our workshops
