Antique Oak Settle with Fielded Panelled Back on Cabriole Legs Circa 1830

19th century
Description

A lovely mellow oak four panel settle on cabriole legs with turned under stretchers and a horsehair squab cushion. The polish is original and has been hand finished with quality wax. Joints are sound and the left hand arm has a small repair to the joint at the rear. The seat has a wooden base which has been placed over the splats to give additional support to the cushion
