Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Corner Stand.

Dating from around 1870, this antique Victorian corner stand is made from mahogany. It has a shaped upright back with a small bow fronted top shelf and lower shelf with a working drawer, glass handle and pull out side rail. Originally designed for the bedroom or bathroom It would now work wonderfully in a living space displaying photos or treasured possessions. It stands on square moulded legs with cross stretchers for added stability and has aged to a rich medium shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
