Description

A most attractive late Georgian/early Victorian four-tier whatnot of small proportions measuring only 16” (410mm) wide. Each of the four shelves – all in the original superbly executed faux-rosewood finish – are united by delicately turned spindle uprights with turned leg supports terminating in their original gilt-brass castors. This beautiful general purpose whatnot – ideal for ornaments or books – is English, and it dates from 1825 – c.1850.
