Georgian Scottish Mahogany Square Washstand. C 1810

19th century
Description

Good Georgian Scottish mahogany large size square washstand of the most gorgeous original colour and patination.

Turned legs with cupboard doors above with hinged top parts which open up to reveal original fitted interior. The fronts are nicely inlaid with a faded ebony line inlay. There is also an ebony line around the edge of the tops.

The cupboard space is pretty large so plenty of storage space. Could be used for a bedside table or even a phone table as there is plenty of space for all the various phone books in the cupboard.

Lovely original colour and patination.

SIZE; 20" wide by 18" from front to back by 34" high
