19th Century Antique Painted Pine Box Seat Settle.

This antique pine seat is the ideal shape and size for use in an entrance hallway.

In solid yellow pine with remnants of the original 19th century paint finish, this antique settle has a lift up lid with the original iron hinges, inside is secret storage, perfects for shoes.

In very good original condition, the seat has a spindle rail back and arm supports, all traditional pegged construction.

Dating from around 1840, this country antique painted pine bench/seat/settle is now in our antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
