E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 1870s.
Central mirror held by 6 cross bars with open frett carved ends in turn held by square uprights all holding 12 brass hanging hooks. The base of mirror also having scrolled brackets with open frett work. The base having marble top over serpentine mahogany lined drawer on turned and spiral carved pillars. The ends having 'Melon' carved turned rails with scrolled end supports over drip trays all for umbrellas The square back supports having open frett carved shaped corner brackets. All on shaped platform base sitting on squat bun feet.

Condition:
Small piece of carving will be replaced in lefthand top scrolled bracket and 1 end finial to be replaced to lefthand side of base. All will be cleaned and wax polished. The galloping horse transfer will be removed from mirror.
