wonderful shapland & petter mahogany bedroom suite comprising of a large wardrobe, dressing table and pair of bedside cabinets, all locks stamped S & P, B.

the magnificent large wardrobe with decorative flared cornice over two door base, one door with green glazed panel overlaid with fabulous sylised design in copper and stylised carved panels below, the other with shaped bevel edged mirror, both with decorative hinges, opening to original green silk lined interior with hanging rails and hooks, the shelved central section with bow front drawer plus three further drawers and the unusual feature of a concealed pull out baize lined writing slope, large bottom drawer and shaped plinth base.

the dressing table with bevel edged mirror in decorative curved supports with pierced motifs and two small drawers to each side over base fitted with four small drawers and one long drawer, all with wonderful decorative drop handles and back plates.

the pair of pot cupboards have a fitted frieze drawer over panelled door with decorative hinges opening to shelved interior.

this really is a most impressive and very well made bedroom suite, it does have normal signs of wear and tear as one would expect commensurate with age and use i.e. general light scuffs / marks, the dressing table has some marks in the polish to the top, the pot cupboards have some marks etc., but nothing to detract from just how wonderfully decorative and eye catching this fabulous bedroom suite actually is.
