Made from oak and then ebonised to give it a deep almost black appearance. The back panel when up is the back to the bench, folded down it becomes a table top. The top is carved on both sides as is the front base of the bench, which has a hinged seat that lifts for storage underneath. An ideal pieces of furniture often used to grace a hall way.
