Below is a lift-up lid panelled chest, giving ample storage. The chest has charming iron strap hinges, with a large rustic lock with very pretty decorative escutcheon to the front, with large original key, and fully working lock.
The condition is very good, with general expected signs of use consistent with age, minor marks and knocks, but very good for the age of the settle.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Bees-waxed and polished.
