This is a good quality small antique 2ft 9” English Arts & Crafts oak settle, circa 1900 - 1910. The settle is constructed of solid oak. The back consists of an upholstered lime green cotton upholstered padded back.
The seat has a removable lime green swab cushion. Below, there is a useful shoe or book storage area. The settle features the original polish and patination and thus the colour of this settle is superb. This settle boasts a classic arts and crafts design.
Condition Report:
The item is in excellent condition and is commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The upholstery is also in excellent condition and is clean, dry and free from wear and tear. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
