Regency Golden Oak Antique Writing Desk

This quality Regency golden oak antique writing desk / washstand, circa 1830, has a raised shaped back above a rectangular top with rounded corners. The desk has two cock beaded drawers with turned oak handles, diamond shaped key escutcheons and stands on four beautifully turned legs with quality brass castors. This beautiful period table is a rich golden oak with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

W. 122cm / 48"

D. 61cm/ 24"
