Intricately Carved Early French Gothic Oak Bookcase

The upper section of the Bookcase has 2 Doors glazed in stained leaded Glass enclosing an adjustable book shelf. The Top of the piece has a large and elaborately carved cornice and there is a great amount of carving on the front, including angel faces

The carvings on the lower section of the bookcase are even more intricate with the faces of Lions it has 2 drawers and the interior of the cupboard is shelved

The Bookcase has a solid back; it is in sound condition apart from age related wear, it separates into 2 for transportation

The bookcase is 92” high, 44” wide and 22” deep, the Base section is 38” high
