A Georgian Artists Campaign Chest on Stand.

18th century
Description

A Geo III artists box on original stand. Possibly adapted from a surgeons chest or apothecarys chest. Substantial side carying handles. The top lifts and folds down to rest on rear opening lopers.

Two drawers with original escutcheons below. The brass pulls to the drawers are Regency replacements for the swan neck handles which would have been in place originally. The stand appears original and has brass cup casters.

22 inches wide by 19 1/2 inches deep and 29 inches high.
