19th Century Mahogany and Ratan Daybed Steamer

Description

An unusual late 19th century Mahogany Daybed, having fluted carving to the side rails, raised on ring turned legs of which retain the original brass spoke castors. This daybed has a variety of adjustable positions including the head and leg rest, with windout handle to adjust the middle section. A fantastic and quirky piece of 19th century engineering. The whole upholstered in a good strong ratan.

Dimensions: Length fully extended: 83 Inches (211cm), Width: 30 Inches (76cm), Height to seat: 15 1/4 Inches (39cm)
