Circa 1900, a Very Unusual Free Standing Solid Oak Vertical Form Plate Rack or Stand.

Description

Most unusual free standing solid oak plate rack or stand with a curving triangular shape, moulded edges, fluted side members, and standing on tapering feet.

The stand is divided by 18 wire compartments, suitable to hold 18 individual plates, or more if stacked.

Size-54 inches high, and 14.5 inches wide on each triangular side.

It can stand in any room wherever you like, including a corner. A great piece to hold dining room or kitchen plates, or a plate collection.

Hand waxed in the traditional method, and in very good condition, with nice colour and patina.

This is a very attractive, unusual, and most functional piece, not often found.
