Description

A late 19thc mahogany table top reading stand by Army and Navy London. Ratchet adjustable book slope with detachable reeded bookrest. Slim drawer for writing equipment which has an inlaid ivory Army and Navy makers plate. Four fold out legs beautifully concealed below with good locking mechanism.

60 cms wide by 35 deep in plan. The depth of the piece with book rest down and legs folded up is 6cm. The legs are 18.5 cm high thus when they are up the total height is 24.5 cm without the book rest up. The book slope surface is 35 cms wide.
