Regency Rosewood Stand

19th century
Description

A fabulous quality william iv solid rosewood stand inset with brass bowl , the top swivels and has three dolphins carrying the brass bowl which itself pops out of its holder .

I am unsure of its exact use or the significance if any of the dolphins but as a plant stand or even fruit bowl it would look wonderfull .

The condition is superb and the heavy quality of the rosewood base with its crisp lion paw feet make this a very desirable piece.
