Jane Short Antiques has dated this Art Deco Bronze Sculpture to the 1920s.
It is raised on the original black navette shaped marble base and is signed E Guy on the bronze.

Edouard Guy Compte du Passage is well known for his sculptures of animals and was compared favourably to Antoine-Louis Barye (1796-1875)
However, towards the end of his life he embraced the Art Deco movement.

This piece is possibly his only Art Deco bronze which he produced before he died in 1925.
It is of a good size and makes a striking impression. Circa 1920-1925
