Antique Anatolian flatweave tribal weave Kilim rug, featuring a vegetable dye red ground with large central lozenge or diamond pattern, with a geometric border showing traditional hook motifs.
A tribal village design from Anatolia, Turkey with some evidence of timeworn use, some repair patches and wear to the edges, whilst predominantly intact and showing a handsome faded grandeur and impressive scale.

This is an antique rug, apx 100 years old and used with wear, mostly structurally intact and imminently useable but not perfect, perfectly imperfect with sufficient wear which will appeal to some, a country house aesthetic. Mostly clean with some traces of expected historic stains.
