Anthony Short Antiques has dated this Brown Leather Club Armchair to the 19th Century.
The generously shaped frame features a deeply buttoned upholstered back and arms, all retaining the original brown leather.

Refined details include elegant scrolling arms, a sprung seat with loose feather filled cushion, and close?nailed brass stud decoration. The chair is raised on square tapering legs, giving it a clean, understated profile that complements its classic form.

The leather displays a beautiful, untouched golden brown colour with a rich, even patination developed over many years, making the chair both visually striking and extremely comfortable. In superb original condition, with no damage or repairs, it represents an excellent example of Victorian period seating.

The seat height is 49 cm.
Overall, this club armchair is in very good original order, combining real comfort with strong decorative presence. Its warm tone and exceptional patina clearly reflect the quality of the piece and the careful maintenance it has received over time.
