Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Georgian blue and white transferware refers to lead-glazed earthenware produced in 18th and early 19th-century Britain, decorated using engraved copperplates whose designs were transferred onto paper and applied to unglazed pottery before firing.

It was manufactured using earthenware or pearlware clay bodies, where cobalt oxide pigment was printed onto tissue paper and pressed onto the unburnt ceramic before a clear glaze was applied for a final firing.

Authentic pieces frequently exhibit stippled copperplate engraving details, subtle transfer seam overlaps, cobalt blue glaze bleeding, and a lead-glazed finish showing fine age crazing or unglazed foot rims.

Platters of this nature can be mounted on a wall in a dining room, placed upright on a plate rack, or styled flat on a sideboard as a base for decorative objects.

Clean gently by hand using lukewarm water and a mild detergent, avoiding harsh abrasives, dishwashers, or prolonged immersion in water to prevent glaze degradation.
