6449 ~ Lot 62 ~ 14 April 1994 }, at their South Kensington, London rooms, where it was catalogued as potted by Edward and George Phillips of Longport, Staffordshire { 1822 - 1848 }. Decorated in an attractive shade of medium blue with a scene of a shepherd playing his pipe to a lady seated among sheep. Two figures are crossing a bridge in the middle distance right, and there is a large house on the hill in the background, the whole set within a border of flowers and ivy leaves.
