Victorian Oak and Silver Plated Butterfly Opening Tea Caddy

An unusual Victorian oak domed top butterfly opening tea caddy with decorative silver plated fittings c.1900. The solid figured oak box with chamfered edge plinth to the foot and hinged domed top opening from the centre. Silver plated decorative fittings to the corners, the top, and complementing fleur-des-lis design drop handles to the sides. The hinged lid opening from both sides to reveal a fitted interior with two silver plated lids and surrounds, which form two caddies to store the tea, plus original green baized finish to the interior of the hinged lids. For clocks and barometers bought from us, we also offer a setting up service by our trained personnel (local deliveries only).

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.
