Antique Oak Writing Table

Description

A good antique oak writing table of compact proportions, standing on square legs united by stretchers. The table features two drawers fitted with brass swan-neck handles, one of which retains useful green baize-lined divisions for stationery and desk accessories. The oak has a rich medium-to-dark brown colour with attractive grain throughout and a well-developed patina. The top is inset with a red leather writing surface finished with decorative gilt tooling, providing a practical and attractive workspace. A versatile piece, equally suited for use as a writing desk, laptop table or hall table.
