Antique Edwardian Oak Small Writing Desk

Description

An attractive Edwardian oak small writing desk standing on turned legs fitted with brass and ceramic castors. The desk is arranged with a long drawer above four graduated drawers to the right-hand side, all retaining their original brass handles. The rectangular top is inset with a green leather writing surface. A well-proportioned and practical piece with good colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear throughout, including marks, scratches and surface wear to the top. There is scuffing and wear to the leather writing surface and a historic repair to one of the front legs. The desk remains solid and sturdy throughout. Overall, a good example.
