A wonderful antique rug, handwoven by nomadic Kurds circa 1900. The rug features an all over geometrical design on an unusual camel field and deep indigo border. Beautiful secondary colours of greens, pinks and blues and a lovely example of tribal weaving.

Size: 2.12m x 1.23m (7ft x 4ft)

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in one small area (see photos). Small, old repair to one small section of fringe (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
