Description

A pair of 1800s antique mahogany armchairs in the manner of Gillows, showcasing refined craftsmanship in regency style.

Each chair features a shaped top back ail with subtle carved detailing, supported by scrolled arms and a well-structured frame. The turned and reeded front legs sit on original brass castors, adding both practicality and a classic period feel.

The mahogany has a rich, warm tone with lovely figuring throughout, while the seats are upholstered in a soft coral-toned fabric, offering a striking contrast to the dark timber.

A Gillows-style stamp is present to the frame, adding further interest and character.

The chairs remain in good overall condition, with light age-related wear consistent with use. The upholstery shows some marks and could be refreshed if desired.
