A beautiful pair of carved giltwood Florentine style wall mirrors dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Each mirror features a plain mirror plate set within an ornate acanthus leaf and scrolling giltwood frame, richly detailed and highly decorative.

This elegant pair has come from the estate of Corby Castle and is fresh to the market. They display the classic Florentine taste with bold carved ornament and warm gilded finish, making them ideal for a hallway, bedroom or reception room.

The mirror plates sit neatly within their original carved surrounds and the frames present very well with attractive age related patina. A charming and versatile pair that would complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.
