Robert Belcher Antiques has dated this Equestrian Bronze Rider Sculpture to the 1950s.

The pose of the horse is magnificent. The artist has captured the horse's muscular and sinewy stance, even detailing the veins in its face. Equally, the detail in the eyes, mane and tail are brilliant.

The rider is formally dressed, and the attention to detail of his costume is outstanding.
This superb bronze is mounted onto the original white and grey veined marble base, which is beautifully cut and polished.

This rare bronze was made in a very limited run of only 75 sculptures for the worldwide market.
This particular bronze is numbered 9/75. It is also fully signed and dated by the artist and sculptor Juliette Dodd.
