Description

Size: 6ft 9in x 4ft 6in (206 x 137cm).

Antique Kashan prayer rug of floral design with small medallion.

Circa 1920.

The rug is of less common Kashan prayer rug designs with very fine flowers radiating from the vase at the base. the small central ivory ground medallion is also filled with flowers. The ground colour is a warm red with the floral design in soft pastel shades. The main border frames the rug well with an ornate floral design.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
