The drop leaves are supported by small hinged wooden flaps.
It is in good condition and displays very well. It is strong and sturdy and in good order with a nice rich colour. The leaves are flat and easy to put up and the drawers open smoothly. There are some signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. There is some historic worm below the leaves in the supporting flaps which has all been treated as a precaution. The table has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
