Description

A late Victorian bamboo occasional table of square form raised on gently slayed legs united by lower stretchers and reinforced with typical decorative braces below the tabletop.

A good original example with a warm, natural colour to the bamboo surfaces, and an attractive, well-worn painted japanned top, all typical of Aesthetic Movement bamboo furniture of the period.

Presented in very good antique condition, with aged wear and scattered surface losses to the lacquered top. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
