The arched hood with swan neck pediment surmounted by brass eagle finial above fluted columns, enclosing an impressive painted and engraved arched dial signed Matt McVie, Paisley
The silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and richly engraved brass centre are framed by ornate gilt spandrels, all housed in a beautifully figured mahogany case
