Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco jewellery from the 1930s is defined by geometric shapes, clean lines, and symmetrical arrangements of gemstones. Rings from this era frequently featured central step-cut coloured stones, such as emeralds, flanked by accent diamonds and mounted in multi-tone metal settings.

Rings during this period were commonly crafted using 18-carat yellow gold, platinum, or white gold. Settings often combined gold bands with platinum prongs or shoulders to securely hold high-grade natural gemstones like Colombian emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds.

Authentic pieces exhibit hand-carved setting details, period metal hallmarks, and specific stone cuts such as step cuts or old European cuts. Mixed metal construction, such as platinum head settings on yellow gold shanks, is also a key indicator of 1920s and 1930s fine jewellery.

A vintage emerald ring acts as a distinctive focal piece when paired with neutral tailored garments or monochrome eveningwear. The rich green tone coordinates well with both modern gold and platinum accessories for a layered fine jewellery look.

Emeralds are natural stones that require gentle care; never clean them using ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemical solutions. Use lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth to clean the setting, and store the ring separately to prevent diamonds from scratching the emerald surface.
