DWERRIHOUSE & BELL, PARIS: A very fine quality ormolu (gilt bronze) MANTEL CLOCK in perfect working order. The heavy case is of typical rococo design with swags and scrolls and raised on its integral ormolu base. The eight-day movement, with silk suspension and outside countwheel, strikes hours and half-hours melodiously on a bell. Signed twice to the backplate. A very fine quality clock indeed and guaranteed for at least two years. Maximum 34cms high; 22cms wide; 10cms deep.

** DWERRIHOUSE & BELL was a partnership of English London-based clockmakers from 1828-1875, but also had offices and a business in Paris.
