Sinclairs Antiques and Interiors has dated this French Clock Garniture Set to the 19th Century.
The dial is adorned with Roman numerals and delicate hands, framed by a decorative bezel. The movement is likely an 8-day mechanical, typical of French craftsmanship from the late 1800s. Each urn is richly decorated with hand-painted figural scenes and floral embellishments, set against a soft porcelain ground. Gilt accents highlight the contours and handles, while the black bases provide contrast and stability. The glass domes not only protect the pieces but also elevate their presentation, suggesting they were cherished and possibly displayed in a formal salon or parlour.
