A fine Victorian mahogany reading table of practical and elegant design.

The table stands upon a platform base with turned feet and castors, providing both stability and ease of movement. The central column is of faceted form, rising from a turned socle, giving the piece strong architectural character.

The top is fitted with two adjustable book rests, making it particularly suitable for reading or reference use. The height is adjustable, extending to 40½ inches (103 cm), offering versatility and comfort.
