Description

A superb William IV rosewood library table of impressive quality and rich colour.

The table stands upon turned and fluted feet, united by a stretcher supported with finely carved turned columns, displaying the bold and distinctive carving typical of the William IV period.

Fitted with two oak-lined drawers to the front and two faux drawers to the reverse, the table offers both practicality and symmetry. The drawers are flanked by beautifully carved supports, further enhancing the decorative appeal.

The top showcases particularly striking Rio rosewood timbers, with beautifully figured grain and depth of tone.

Presented in good overall condition, this is a fine and highly decorative example of a William IV library table.
