C19th Swedish Giltwood Wall Mirror in the Neoclassical Manner

Description

Impressive early C19th Swedish giltwood wall mirror; in the neoclassical manner; the substantial domed crest having a narrow acanthus moulding surrounding the large lunette fan above a diamond and harebell frieze. The original 2-part mirror plates housed in a slender foliate slip flanked by reeded pilasters having ribbon tied mouldings raised on a moulded apron base.

Swedish circa 1820

Good original condition, the original gilding showing appropriate signs of wear.
