Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Regency library tables, popular during the early nineteenth century in Britain, typically feature classical proportions, fine wood veneers such as mahogany or rosewood, inset leather writing surfaces, and reeded or fluted turned legs set on castors.

These tables were primarily constructed from solid mahogany or rosewood, often featuring crossbanded timber borders, hand-cut drawer joinery, brass castors, brass drawer knobs, and gold-tooled leather writing surfaces.

Authentic Regency pieces demonstrate period construction methods, including hand-sawn drawer linings, hand-cut dovetail joints, natural wood oxidisation on unseen undersides, and original brass castors attached to turned leg terminals.

Position the desk centrally in a home office or along a wall in a dedicated reading area, pairing it with a streamlined modern desk chair or an upholstered vintage armchair to balance historical character with contemporary functionality.

Preserve the timber frame by applying a natural beeswax polish along the grain, and clean the leather top with a soft dry cloth while periodically applying a specialized leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.
