Description

A very fine quality possibly Scottish 19th century mahogany library writing table with double string around the skiver, stringing around the edge, inlaid detail to the drawer fronts, this is a very well put together table made of good choice cuts of timber and it looks as if the handles, the casters and what is left of the skiver are all original. It is totally freestanding with false drawers and handles to the reverse. This table would work very well in place of a sofa table. The skiver is missing a few small areas, but it can be waxed and conserved or changed for a new one for a small additional cost.
