Brief Description:

This is an original 19th-century Victorian antique Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting a distinguished gent who is wearing a three-piece suit with a silk scarf around his neck.

He holds a small box, possibly a snuff box.

It is beautifully painted and very much in the style and manner of the British artist Charles Spencelayh (1865-1958).

Mounted within the original giltwood and gesso foliate moulded frame.
