He then went on to paint mainly in watercolour.Pearson exhibited 1;5 works at Suffolk Street between 1845 and 1872 ,4 at the Royal Academy and also at the New Watercolour Society and elsewhere .He was one of the oldest members of the Langham Sketching Club.Two of his views of Wales are in the Victoria andAlbert Museum . Thomas Francis Wainwright was a landscape artist who lived in London.He was a prolific artist who exhibited over 200 works at Suffolk Street. He also exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1832 and 1862, the British Institution and elsewhere . Wainwright and Pearson had a long standing friendship and were known to collaborate on many paintings.Pearson did the landscape and Wainwright the cattle. ‘Cattle in a River Landscape’ watercolour signed by both artists, dated 1880, image size 20.5x40 cms ,framed size 42x60 cms .I also have in stock a pair to this watercolour depicting sheep in a mountainous Lakeland landscape. Both are well presented in quality frames with a wash lined mount.
