The Silver Cabinet has dated this Antique Silver Wax Holder to the Victorian era.
The wax holder is hallmarked for London 1893 with the maker's mark for Samuel Jacob. It is hinged at both ends and topped with an elephant. Up to 6" (15.
The little tube on the top is for holding a lit match to melt the wax. Fabulous design.
