Sampson Mordan Silver Wax Holder and Seal

Description

A rare Sampson Mordan patented wax holder and seal. Marked for Chester 1914.

Crest to base “Tenax Et Fedelis’ - Firmness & Faithfullness - possibly Abdy, Smith, Tennant.

The sides press in to release the sealing wax and to retract it back into the holder.

It is in good used condition please study the pictures condition commensurate with age and use.
