Oak Linen Press C.1880

Description

Small oak linen press and cupboard c.1880. Sturdy oak frame with the press board adjusted up and down on a long carved screw with a removable handle. Seven loose oak press boards supplied (width 19" between the uprights, depth 14") to allow multiple layers to be pressed at once. With a single oak lined drawer below. Over a small cupboard base with a shelf and drawer inside (internal depth 13½"). Ball finials, moulded edges and a shaped and raised door panel. Raised on turned bun feet at the front. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Cupboard key supplied.
